Job Description - Business Manager (Private Banking)
We are currently partnering with a leading Private Bank who have a strong presence in the Asia region
They are looking to hire a Business Manager to support their Front Office team.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to enable Private Banking front office initiatives and day to day Front Office business.
The scope encompasses supporting Front Office with day-to-day business activities, sales initiatives and projects, reporting and analytics, regulatory-policy compliance and remediation initiatives in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
This role will be responsible for the following:
Support Front Office business initiatives and projects (including sales, operational, risk and technical tasks) looking toward improving the delivery model and output quality
Monitor KPI performance to ensure alignment with business plans and budgets.
Track weekly pipelines and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews.
Build and maintain the sales operating rhythm, including preparing reports and presentations supporting Regional Management Team
Prepare and track sales activity, referrals, initiatives, and follow through on outcomes.
Work closely with Finance and Global Sales Management to enhance sales tools and reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Ensure stable frontline activities, smooth running of frontline processes and seek continuous improvement in frontline activities - provide Front Office support on day-to-day activities including accounts opening/exits processes, system-related or reporting issues. Help find and implement solutions for ad-hoc queries from the front line.
Ensure compliance with external regulatory and internal policy requirements, including the Bank’s global and regional policies, operating procedures and controls to meet the Bank’s local regulatory requirements and to protect the business from financial, regulatory and reputational risk.
Maintain a business-wide and ‘team’ perspective in respective projects and business support activities, balancing commercial and control requirements
Work in collaboration with various business support functions (Business Monitoring, Middle Office-Operations, Compliance, Treasury, Risk and other departments) to ensure compliant Front Office activities, loss prevention and workplace efficiency.
Systems – act as the FO representative on system/trading platform matters involving the Front Office – including access, support, issues escalation, testing, user acceptance and specification and outage support, as required.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role in the Private Banking industry
Strong expertise in handling and extracting data (Excel, Access, Business Object, Power BI)
Strong presentation skills (Powerpoint)
