Business Operations Specialist (Malaysia Based Role)

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client in the telecommunications industry to identify a Business Operations Specialist. You will be responsible for the strategic oversight of subscriber lifecycles, ensuring high-integrity billing reconciliations, and driving process improvements. This role requires a seasoned professional who can bridge the gap between technical backend systems, external channel partners, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end subscriber lifecycle, implementing automated workflows to streamline activation, recharge, and refund processes
• Act as the primary lead for channel partners and internal teams to resolve complex technical escalations and system integrations
• Drive the billing reconciliation and settlement framework with operators to ensure financial accuracy and eliminate revenue leakage
• Transform raw operational data into executive-level reports and actionable insights to support long-term commercial decision-making
• Oversee all operational compliance, serving as a subject matter expert for PDPA and customer privacy policies to mitigate risk
• Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor system health and drive continuous improvement in service delivery

Key Requirements:

• 6-7 years of progressive experience in business operations, specifically within the Telecommunications, FinTech, or Mobile Services industry
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools preferred
• Strong ability to negotiate with and influence external partners and internal cross-functional heads
• Proficiency in English is essential; Mandarin or Malay is an added advantage to facilitate communication with regional partners.
• Expert in managing subscribers, billing workflows, and data privacy rules like PDPA
