◆Role Overview:

A leading HR services organization is seeking a strategic and commercially driven professional to support business growth and performance improvement across its regional operations.

This role will work closely with subsidiary CEOs and senior leadership teams, providing business insights, challenging assumptions, and identifying opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness.

The successful candidate will leverage their recruitment industry expertise, analytical capabilities, and commercial mindset to influence business decisions and contribute to long-term regional growth.

◆Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with subsidiary CEOs and leadership teams to understand business operations, challenges, and growth opportunities.
• Participate in management meetings, business reviews, and annual planning processes across multiple business entities.
• Analyze business performance, operational metrics, and strategic initiatives to support effective decision-making.
• Conduct detailed reviews of P&L performance, KPIs, and business drivers to identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate operational performance across key areas including consultant productivity, revenue growth, gross profit performance, pricing strategy, operational efficiency, and resource allocation.
• Identify business risks, growth opportunities, and areas for operational enhancement through data-driven analysis.
• Provide strategic recommendations and constructive feedback to senior management teams to improve business performance.
• Challenge existing business assumptions and support leadership teams in refining strategies and execution plans.
• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure alignment between local initiatives and overall organizational objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments within the HR services and recruitment sector.
• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and business updates for senior management and regional stakeholders.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

◆Requirements:

[Must Have]

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the recruitment, staffing agency industry.
• Business-level Japanese proficiency to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing a recruitment business, branch, team, or business unit with ownership of commercial performance.
• Experience in roles such as Branch Manager, Business Manager, Recruitment Manager, Country Manager, or equivalent leadership positions.
• Strong understanding of recruitment/staffing industry KPIs, including gross profit margin, consultant productivity, billings performance, conversion metrics, and workforce planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify business challenges, analyze root causes, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen with confidence in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Good financial literacy with the ability to understand P&L structures, margins, and key business drivers.

• Experience in business consulting, corporate strategy, or business planning roles.
• Experience working within a regional headquarters, holding company, or multi-entity organization structure.
• Experience supporting business transformation, operational improvement, or business scaling initiatives.
• Exposure to regional operations and cross-border business environments.
