The Business Specialist is responsible for supporting clients in the implementation, optimization and ongoing use of Ortec Finance software solutions. The role combines business consulting, client relationship management, project delivery and functional product expertise.
The employee works closely with institutional investors, pension funds, insurance companies and other financial institutions to understand business requirements, translate these requirements into software solutions and ensure successful implementation of Ortec Finance products. The role requires regular interaction with clients, project teams, product specialists and software developers.
Key responsibilities include:
Analyzing client business processes, operational requirements and objectives.
Advising clients on the application and effective use of Ortec Finance software solutions.
Managing and executing software implementation and configuration activities.
Preparing business specifications, functional requirements and implementation documentation.
Conducting workshops, training sessions and product demonstrations for clients and stakeholders.
Coordinating project activities and monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery.
Troubleshooting complex functional issues and supporting clients during implementation and post implementation phases.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor for assigned accounts.
Supporting sales and pre-sales activities by providing subject matter expertise, preparing proposals and participating in client meetings.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and solution enhancements based on client feedback and market developments.
Collaborating with product development teams by providing input on product improvements, testing new functionality and validating business requirements.
Supporting knowledge sharing and coaching of junior colleagues within project teams.
The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with client-facing consulting and project work, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and excellent communication skills. The employee is expected to work independently on complex client engagements while collaborating with international colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.
Relevant experience in business consulting, software implementation, financial services, business analysis or project delivery.
Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working with complex software solutions and international clients.
Ability to independently manage client engagements and deliver high-quality business solutions.
