Job Summary
Join a dynamic team supporting the School Bus Business! As a Business Operations Lead, you'll play a key role in coordinating business operations, finance, tender administration, IT systems, and stakeholder management. If you enjoy working with different departments, solving problems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate monthly subcontractor payment processing, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and resolution of payment-related issues with the Finance team.
Maintain and administer internal business systems, including data accuracy, user access management, and coordination of system-related issues with IT and stakeholders.
Support the preparation and submission of contracts and tenders by consolidating documents, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring compliance with submission timelines.
Assist in departmental budgeting, expenditure tracking, financial reporting, and budget variance analysis.
Serve as the key liaison between Finance, Operations, IT, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and timely resolution of operational matters.
Review, streamline, and enhance administrative processes to improve operational efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct onboarding and refresher training for staff on operational systems and applications.
Provide day-to-day business, operational, and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of he School Bus Business.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Business Support, Operations, Administration, Project Coordination, or a similar role.
Experience coordinating with Finance, Operations, IT, or multiple internal stakeholders.
Familiarity with budgeting, payment processing, contracts, tenders, or documentation will be an advantage.
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience using ERP, CMS, or other business systems is an added advantage.
