Buyer (Semi-Con Equipment Solutions) - Hiring Immediately

The Opportunity:

Adecco is collaborating with a leading semiconductor service provider with more than ten years of experience serving clients in the front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication industry. With a robust industry background, they are the preferred partner for numerous companies in the semiconductor industry, semiconductor wafer companies, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

They are looking for a Buyer to join their team where you will get the opportunity to procure, negotiate, and establish strong working relationships with your suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Full-time opportunity
• Working days/hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6.30pm
• Location: Kranji

The Job:

• Source, assess, and procure electronic components and mechanical parts from dependable suppliers capable of meeting specified requirements.
• Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quantities, and delivery terms.
• Conduct comparisons of specifications and prices, and present alternative proposals to engineers for approval.
• Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes when necessary.
• Generate purchase orders based on purchase requisitions.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and new product offerings.

The Talent:

• Candidates with 3-5 years of purchasing experience.
• Possess good communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and sourcing skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team.
