Job Description - Cafe Manager

Position: Café Store Manager

Location: Singapore 

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Café Store Manager to lead daily operations and deliver a premium, experience-driven café environment. This role will be responsible for driving team performance, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing customer engagement and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Service Excellence

  • Lead, train, and coach the store team to deliver a high-quality, experience-driven customer journey
  • Ensure all brand standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed
  • Handle and resolve customer feedback and complaints professionally
  • Maintain all café equipment in good working condition
  • Ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are upheld at all times
  • Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and loyalty

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day café operations
  • Ensure proper handling of cash and stock with full compliance to internal controls
  • Execute in-store promotions and events to drive traffic and sales
  • Implement marketing updates and maintain point-of-sale materials
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement of consumables (e.g., cups, packaging, etc.)
  • Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales and expenses

Team Leadership & Development

  • Communicate effectively with the team through regular briefings and meetings
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to maintain high performance standards
  • Schedule shifts and manage manpower planning
  • Oversee onboarding and continuous training (including beverage preparation and service flow)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Café Manager or in a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
  • Strong operational awareness and data sensitivity with analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for service excellence
