About the Role

MotorBahn Group is a growing multi-brand automotive specialist group in Singapore. We work exclusively on premium vehicles — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volvo and more — delivering retrofit installations, electronic accessories fitment and dashcam integrations to an exacting standard.

We are looking for someone who has already done this kind of work — dashcams, reversing cameras, ambient lighting, audio, car electronics — and wants to do it at a higher level, on better cars, with a team that takes quality seriously.

Title and compensation commensurate with experience. Both levels require prior hands-on installation experience.

What You Will Do

Installation & Technical Work

• Install OE factory-options retrofit systems on premium vehicles — ambient lighting, camera systems, digital cockpit upgrades and other manufacturer-specification accessories.

• Fit and integrate dashcam systems with clean, concealed wiring and professional cable management.

• Remove and refit interior trims with care — zero creaks, zero marks, zero shortcuts.

• Perform electrical diagnostics using brand-specific diagnostic computers (e.g. BMW ISTA, Mercedes XENTRY or equivalent).

• Protect and route wiring correctly — heat shielding, loom wrapping, proper connector terminations.

• Inspect completed work before vehicle handover and take full ownership of quality.

Knowledge & Collaboration

• Communicate job status clearly to the admin and customer service team so records are updated accurately.

• Flag parts shortages, tool requirements or technical issues promptly.

• Maintain a clean, organised workshop bay at all times.

Senior Hires — Mentorship

• Guide and coach junior installers on installation techniques, wiring discipline and interior trim handling.

• Review completed work by junior staff and provide constructive, practical feedback.

• Contribute to building the team’s technical knowledge base over time.

Salary & Career Path

We offer a competitive fixed salary plus a performance incentive tied to job output — so the better and faster you work, the more you earn. Incentive structure is determined based on each individual’s ability, learning pace and contribution to the team, and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Coming from a car accessories shop, audio specialist, dashcam installer or automotive electrical background? We want to hear from you. If you are comfortable working inside vehicles and want to do more precise, skilled work on premium cars — this is the step up.

What We Need

Essential — All Levels

• Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Hands-on experience installing car electronics or accessories — dashcams, reversing cameras, parking sensors, ambient lighting, car audio, or similar. This is a hard requirement at all levels; we are not looking for total beginners.

• Physically fit and able to sustain the demands of hands-on installation work — bending, reaching and working in confined vehicle interiors for extended periods.

• Comfortable removing and reinstalling interior trims without causing damage.

• Meticulous attention to detail — you notice a loose clip, a crooked wire or a panel that does not sit flush.

• Willing to learn and take direction; no ego about being coached on premium-vehicle-specific methods.

• Valid Class 3 / 3A driving licence.

Advantageous

• Experience working on premium European vehicles (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volvo).

• Familiarity with OBD diagnostic tools or brand-specific diagnostic software.

• Prior work at a car accessories shop, auto-electrical workshop or in-car entertainment specialist.

• ITE / Nitec qualification in Automotive Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Willingness to cross-train across other automotive services as the business grows.
