Care Support Assistant - Senior Care - Unlimited Growth Potential

Job Description

• Care for the health, well-being and safety of elderly clients [at all times] in the Senior Care Centre
• Deliver personal care needs [including toileting support] to elderly clients.
• Support the conduct of programme activities for elderly clients
• Deliver care needs to Persons-with-Dementia with Person-Centered Care [PCC] efforts and considerations
• Carry out social and recreational group excursions
• Support caregivers and volunteers in caring for clients
• Participate in keeping the environment clean and equipment in good order
• Take charge to ensure proper individual diet care for elderly clients

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• “O” level [minimum 2 credits]
• Competency in eldercare service with at least 1-2 years working experience in an eldercare institution
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess a passionate disposition to care for elderly clients
• Be able to engage comfortably with elderly clients
• Be able to conduct care activities for seniors; e.g. cognitive or card games/cooking therapy/art & craft/singing sessions; etc.
