Job Description - Cashier cum Indoor Sales Fixed Working Hours (Sun / PH off)

Job Highlights:-

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the Image of the LCS Brand

  • Portray a professional image of personal grooming in accordance with the image of LCS

Provide Ultimate Excellent Customer Experience

  • Provide ultimate excellent customer experience according to our Customer Service Values
  • Support Retail Assistants to serve customers by providing cashier service and support as required.
  • Ensure service standards and quality retail experience for customers is maintained.

Effectively Handle Day-to-day Operations (Cashier)

  • Follow the requirements as indicated in the Standard Operational Procedures
  • Handle payment transactions with different mode of payment such as cash, credit card or other applicable forms with high level of compliance and accuracy
  • Handle all kinds of transactional requests such as returns, exchanges, refunds, and credit notes according to the company policies and guidelines.
  • Reconciliation of daily transactions with cash and other forms of balances, ensure adequate cash flow in counters, verifying the amounts at the beginning and end of the day.
  • Input transaction and client information on SAP system and invoices accurately
  • Provide information to Management / Accounts by consolidating sales and related information such as sales, stock movements and customer reports.
  • Support retail operations such as liaise with corporate clients and customers on quotations / orders, delivery arrangements, housekeeping and any other related matters / other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Retail Sales Asst Day-to-day Operations (Those without Cashier experience, can apply Retail Sales Asst)

  • Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers from enquiry to point of sales.
  • Merchandising / Promoting and Selling our products to customers with good service standard and knowledge.
  • Include stocking shelves, arranging, and maintaining product displays, pricing products, and monitoring the store inventory.
  • Liaise with corporate clients and customers on quotations, delivery arrangements and any other related matters.
  • Issue of Quotations / Sales Order
  • Develop and maintain business relationship with both consumers and corporate clients.
  • Maintain showroom product display and upkeeping and tidies of the retail outlet.

Foster Close Partnerships

  • Promote teamwork and work closely within the shop and with other departments.

Person Specifications:

  • Permanent Position with annual appraisal for candidates with good performance, AWS, Medical and Dental benefit. Intern and Part-time are also available.
  • Singaporean preferred, others may apply too.

Academic / Professional Qualifications 

  • Secondary School Graduate / NITEC 

Work Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of cashiering experience in retail environment OR has retail experience.
  • Knowledge of operating cash register / point-of-sale terminal (on-the-job training provided)

Required Competencies

  • Good numerical sense, detail-oriented, high accuracy in payment handling
  • Good customer service skills
  • Strong sense of compliance and credibility
  • Well-groomed with good interpersonal, teamwork & communication skills
  • Conversant in English. Bilingual would be an added advantage.
  • Willing to work retail operational hours, Mon – Sat: 8.15am to 6.30pm, (2-Sat off per month + Sun and PH off).
  • Overtime pays - OT pay for return work on the 2 x Saturday Off days (Optional)
  • Permanent Sunday and public holidays off
  • Adequate computer knowledge, knowledge in SAP program is an added advantage.
  • Able to adapt in a fast pace working environment.
