Central Desk Execution Trader- HFT Python experience required)

Our client is a quantitative trading firm which focuses on high‑frequency trading across multiple asset classes is seeking Central Desk Execution Trader who possesses strong Python skills.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the first point of contact for brokers, exchanges, and live trading issues, managing alerts, rejects, outages, and end-of-day processes while executing risk-reducing trades when needed.
• Build and improve real-time trade monitoring systems and automate critical processes like position reconciliation and locates borrowing to enhance efficiency.
• Analyze trading algorithms and leverage systematic trading expertise to optimize execution strategies and improve operational workflows.
• Collaborate with traders, developers, and risk managers to resolve trade discrepancies, ensure smooth settlement, and communicate incidents and process improvements clearly.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Bachelor’s degree from a STEM discipline or similar or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in trade operations, trade support, data engineering, or trading development is a plus.
• Strong Python programming skills, data analytics expertise, and solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and algorithmic trading.
• Calm under pressure with quick decision-making abilities, excellent communication, and strong collaboration skills.
