Haitian Hengchuang Industrial (Singapore) Co., Ltd., established in October 2023 with a registered capital of USD 3 million, fully paid up, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ningbo Haitian Hengchuang Trading Co., Ltd. The Singapore company focuses on international bulk commodity trading, covering metals and minerals, energy and chemicals, and agricultural commodities. Its key suppliers include major commodity trading companies such as Huayou, Hanwa and CNGR, while its downstream transactions may involve delivery through the LME or sales to other international counterparties.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the management, strategic planning, risk control and team development of the company's bulk commodity trading business, covering domestic and international trading, import and export, futures-spot arbitrage and supply chain finance.
• Develop and execute medium- and long-term business strategies based on market cycles, macroeconomic conditions, industry supply and demand, and foreign exchange movements.
• Lead annual business planning and budgeting, set key financial and operational targets, and monitor business performance to ensure the achievement of annual objectives.
• Oversee the full trading cycle, including supplier sourcing and procurement, customer development and sales, contract negotiation, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
• Manage futures hedging, basis trading and arbitrage strategies, while controlling trading positions, inventory exposure and market risks.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive risk management and compliance frameworks covering price, credit, commodity ownership, liquidity and regulatory risks.
• Oversee banking facilities, trade financing, cross-border fund movements and foreign exchange risk management.
• Build and manage cross-functional teams, establish internal approval procedures and performance evaluation mechanisms, and ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including banks, exchanges, customs, tax authorities, regulators, logistics providers and major business partners.
• Regularly report business performance, major transactions and material risks to the Board of Directors or shareholders.

Qualification
Education: Master's degree or above in Finance, International Trade, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are preferred.

Experience: At least 10 years of experience in bulk commodity trading and senior management. Strong knowledge of the end-to-end commodity trading cycle, with cross-border trading and futures-spot trading experience preferred.

Skills: Strong market analysis, strategic planning and risk management capabilities, with proven experience in resource coordination, team leadership and commercial negotiation. Familiarity with commodity market regulations, cross-border compliance and financial instruments.
