Job Description:

• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily pastry preparation.
• Keep up to date with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
• Take care of daily food preparation and assigned duties to meet restaurant standards.
• Follow instructions and recommendations from superiors to complete daily tasks.
• Coordinate daily tasks with Head Chef and Sous Chef.
• Supervise Commis cooks and ensure they follow procedures.
• Estimate daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products.
• Ensure production, preparation, and presentation of pastry are of the highest quality.

Requirements:

• Min 1 year experience in the kitchen
• Excellent knowledge of ingredients, particularly for pastry and dessert preparation.
• Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
• Proficient in food handling, preparation, and cooking procedures specific to the dessert station.
