Responsibilities:
Work in a Fabrication facility clean room and Chemical Lab environment.
Follow the standard operation procedure (SOP) to analyze routine samples and report to internal customers.
Use analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, particle sizing, volume measurement, and weight measurement.
Perform sample, standard, and reagent preparation, such as vapor phase deposition (VPD), extraction, digestion, and series dilution.
Responsible for monitoring and sustaining equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned tools.
Collaborate with area Chemists to troubleshoot analytical issues and equipment issues.
Participate in total productive maintenance (TPM) activities, including 6S audit, housekeeping, and maintaining stock of reagents and standards.
Qualifications
Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Diploma is preferred or related field of study
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and address root causes
Solid multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Proven ability to be a proactive problem solver
Flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities
Successfully demonstrated teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamics
Basic knowledge of analytical equipments, such as Inductively Coupled Plasma/Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS), Inductively Coupled Plasma/Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES), etc.
Good verbal and written communication skills
