Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered consumer services group renowned for operational excellence. As the company enters its next phase of growth, focusing on expansion, digital transformation, and strengthened governance, they are seeking a strategic and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to lead the Group’s finance function and drive sustainable growth and long-term value creation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing overall financial stewardship of the Group.
• Oversee Group accounting, reporting, and consolidation, ensuring compliance with SFRS/IFRS and statutory requirements
• Lead strategic planning, capital management, and long-range financial planning, including annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive operational finance excellence, including performance management, insights on pricing, margins, and profitability optimisation.
• Drive governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, strengthening internal controls and promoting transparency across the organization.
• Manage investor, banking, and stakeholder relationships, as well as relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulators.
• Lead treasury, cash flow, and working capital management, while standardising financial processes across subsidiaries.
• Champion digital transformation in finance, including ERP optimisation and finance digitalisation initiatives.
• Present financial performance to the Board and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, including succession planning and talent strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA / CA qualification mandatory
• 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience managing a sizeable team
• Prior experience as CFO / Head of Finance in a services-based organisation, ideally at the HQ level.
• Strong understanding of Singapore regulatory and tax environment
