Chief Financial Officer Cum CEO's Assistant

The Chief Financial Officer cum CEO's Assistant creates value through supporting the local GM / Business Directors as well as take overall control of the company’s accounting function and to optimize the company’s financial performance and strategic position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide senior management with advice on all financial aspects of business activities and provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities across all the business entities.
• Lead the team to ensure timely consolidated financial reports across operating businesses including monthly and quarterly reports, maintain cash flow, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis for the Group.
• Drives effective end-to-end financial and budget planning and analyses to support any change initiatives or project / process improvements that will improve the depth and efficiency of forecasting, budgeting, monitoring and reporting of financial performance of the Company.
• Evaluate the short-term and long-term business activities and provide strategic recommendation to enhance the financial business performance.
• Support all the fundraising efforts and investor relations and lead the due diligence planning, preparation and coordination process.
• Prioritize and allocate funds to various departments based on set guidelines and internal control system.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines and statutory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA /CA/CPA qualified preferred
• Min 10 years of relevant experience in SGX/public listed companies is highly preferred. Prior experience working in real estate developer will be an added advantage.
• Experience in commercial finance, investment management, fundraising and corporate development is required; experience in and exposure to IPO, M&A and/or JV experience are highly preferred.
• Strong budget management and financial analysis skills, ability to manage investments wisely to have the highest leverage or return effect on each dollar investment skills.
• Driven, analytical, hands-on, detailed oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence senior management teams.
• Must be able to communicate in Mandarin as will be required to handle Chinese-speaking stakeholders / management.
• Able to travel when required.
