Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall operational sales strategy and execution for the business in Singapore and regional markets.
• Oversee project delivery for generator set supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure operational readiness to support mission-critical data centre projects with strict uptime and compliance requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency, profitability, and scalability across procurement, logistics, engineering, and service teams.
• Manage relationships with key customers, EPC contractors, consultants, and data centre operators.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Technical teams to support tendering, pricing, and customer solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements, workplace safety standards, and quality management systems.
• Build and mentor high-performing operational and technical teams.
• Support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and regional expansion initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operational processes, project management, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12–15 years of leadership experience in power generation, mission-critical infrastructure, data centres, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of diesel generator systems, backup power infrastructure, and critical environment operations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects and cross-functional operational teams.
• Familiarity with hyperscale or colocation data centre environments is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract management and operational budgeting.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore market regulations, workplace safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with regional responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with data centre developers, EPC contractors, or mission-critical infrastructure providers.
• Regional Southeast Asia operational exposure.
• Knowledge of Tier III / Tier IV data centre infrastructure requirements.
• Experience with OEM partnerships and service operations.
