Chinese Restaurant Manager - Immediate Start

Job Summary

Responsible for the successful operations and profitability of the Restaurant. Organize, plan, control, direct and supervise the activities and ensure a high standard of service for members and guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, train and manage staff to ensure they provide excellent and prompt service.
• Ensure equipment, tableware and furniture are adequate, well maintained, and properly set up.
• Ensure the lighting, air-con, music system are properly turned on.
• Work roster to ensure appropriate staffing for optimum deployment to provide excellent and prompt service allowing our guests to enjoy their meal experience.
• Coordinate and liaise with the Chief Chef on the menus, regular and special items.
• Service staff and kitchen staff must work as a Team.
• Ensure that payment process are in accordance with established procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Closing duties are carried out by staff ensuring restaurant is secured, and lighting/air-con are switched off.
• Liaise with Housekeeping on the restaurant laundry needs and ensure the restaurant is well maintained.
• Liaise with the Purchasing Executive and Store Officer to ensure supplies are adequate.
• Liaise with Marcom/Graphic Designer about promotions ensuring they are attractive and well publicized.
• Carry out daily staff briefing together with Chief Chef to ensure all staff are well informed of the day's menu availability, special service requirements, VIP needs, numbers of bookings, station assignments, and guests' feedback.
• Control and check inventory of supplies, service equipment on a regular basis and to account for losses and breakages.
• Implement Club’s safety regulations.
• Familiar with all house rules and implement them.
