Design and develop advanced analog and mixed-signal circuit architectures, including circuit implementation, performance optimization, simulation verification, silicon validation, and testing.
Design high-performance, ultra-low-voltage custom circuits on advanced process nodes, delivering highly optimized and integrable digital building blocks and modules based on stringent Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) requirements.
Perform transistor-level circuit design, device selection, layout-effect analysis, logic simplification, and architecture optimization with a strong focus on first-principles engineering and design efficiency.
Design, develop, and debug switch-mode power supply (SMPS) systems, resolving technical challenges throughout product development, qualification, and mass production stages.
Participate in the design and development of analog IPs and custom circuit blocks, including amplifiers, regulators, data converters, interface circuits, and power management modules.
Conduct circuit simulation, characterization, timing library extraction, and silicon correlation using industry-standard EDA tools.
Design and optimize custom memory structures, including SRAM, DRAM, and emerging memory technologies such as RRAM.
Contribute to IC design methodology development, in-house EDA tool development, design automation, yield improvement, and silicon optimization initiatives.
Perform system-level circuit evaluation, hardware design, validation, and debugging to ensure product performance and reliability.
Support PCB schematic capture, layout design, board bring-up, and hardware debugging activities where required.
Collaborate closely with architecture, digital design, verification, physical design, packaging, and manufacturing teams to achieve successful product tape-out and production readiness.
Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Information & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, or related disciplines.
Strong academic record with demonstrated curiosity, fast learning ability, and the capability to apply knowledge across interdisciplinary domains.
Solid understanding of the IC development lifecycle, including circuit design, verification, physical implementation, fabrication, testing, and production.
Strong theoretical foundation in analog circuits, digital circuits, semiconductor devices, signal processing, and electronic system design.
Familiarity with microprocessor architecture and operation principles.
Knowledge of transistor-level design, circuit simulation, timing analysis, and layout-aware optimization techniques.
Understanding of electromagnetic fields, microwave engineering, and signal integrity concepts is advantageous.
Experience with hardware board design, simulation, implementation, and debugging is a plus.
Strong understanding of power electronics and switching power supply topologies, including control methodologies and stability analysis.
Familiarity with the design, selection, and application of key power components such as magnetic devices, MOSFETs, GaN devices, and power management ICs is preferred.
Hands-on experience in power supply design, development, testing, and debugging will be highly regarded.
