Job Description - Claims Executive, Non-Marine, Specialty Claims

Primary Details
Time Type: Full time

Worker Type: Employee

Assistant Manager in our Non-Marine Specialty Claims team, managing a claims portfolio that consists of general liability, financial lines and cyber risks - both on a direct and Ri basis.

To work with the Regional Specialty Claims Manager, Asia to drive performance and implement best practices in compliance with our Claims Manual.

To maintain claims management and team performance within KPIs at both an individual and a Singapore country level.

The Opportunity
  • Support the implementation of claims management strategies and objectives for the region / branch
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications
  • Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve Claims systems and procedures
  • Approve claims within appropriate authority levels
Your new role
  • Maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers and the general public
  • Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards
  • Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out
  • Ensure recoverable amounts are assessed and effectively followed up and approving significant claims within written authority levels
  • Ensure legitimate claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions by providing technical expertise and leadership
  • May supervise the investigation and settlement of all claims within the team
About you
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Analytical and negotiation skills
  • Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications
  • Experience in insurance domain, with at least 5 years in financial lines claims
  • Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes
