Client Accountant (Trust Accountant)

Our client is a successful mid-sized professional services firm with international presence and is seeking a Client Accountant for their growing team based in Singapore.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

1. Manage daily accounting activities and prepare month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial reports for the Trust / Corporate accounts of HNW clients
2. Coordinate audits by serving as the primary contact for external auditors and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
3. Review the work of bookkeepers, ensure compliance with internal policies and financial controls, and identify process improvement opportunities.
4. Mentor and support junior team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong analytical and numerical skills shall be advantageous.
2. Demonstrate experience in client accounting and/ or Trust Accounting, financial statement preparation, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
3. Exposure to Private Wealth, or corporate accounting environments considered an advantage.
4. Hands on experience in Microsoft Excel and MS Office effectively while managing multiple priorities and communicating clearly with clients and stakeholders.
