Responsibilities
Account Management
Support day-to-day management of account according to agreed programme and scope of work
Coordinate work-in-progress meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing actions and following up with internal teams and clients.
Fully familiarise oneself with clients’ business and related industry, client contacts, and clients’ internal communication processes
Maintain regular client communication under the guidance of the account lead
Prepare client monthly activity reports detailing all activities carried out for the month
Ensure all materials and reports submitted to clients are timely, accurate, error-free and approved by account lead (account consultant or director)
Brief and manage third parties e.g. designers, photographers, event companies and vendors
Assist on event research and planning, logistics co-ordination
Track account timelines and deliverables, flagging potential issues or delays early
Assist on budget and costing research
Media Relations
Monitor relevant media, industry and cultural developments, identifying potential opportunities or risks for clients.
Maintain media lists, manage monitoring and compile accurate coverage reports.
Draft media pitches and conduct targeted outreach and follow-up.
Develop relationships with relevant journalists, editors, content creators and industry stakeholders.
Client Management & Strategy Counsel
Support research on client business and industry (e.g. competitor analysis, industry issues and trends)
Contribute to account planning, campaign development, brainstorms and the development of communications recommendations.
Assist in preparation and delivery of client media training, briefings and workshops
Content Development
Research and assist in development of content (e.g. press releases, FAQs, media briefing materials, client briefing books, presentation decks, speeches / talking points, message house, editorial calendar)
Adapt and customise content for different audience and formats while maintaining consistency with client voice and messaging
Apply strong news judgment and storytelling skills to develop compelling hooks, headlines and narratives
Support the development of social content calendars and creative briefs, including post copy, in-visual copy and clear direction for designers.
Develop social media content across formats (including static posts, carousels, short-form video), translating technical or long-form source material into clear, engaging and platform-appropriate storytelling.
University degree in PR/Communications/Marketing/related field
Minimum 1 year experience in PR related field
Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience developing social media content, particularly for LinkedIn or B2B audiences, with an ability to interpret reports, interviews and technical subject matter and turn them into accessible, compelling social content.
Familiarity with social media analytics and the ability to identify basic performance insights is advantageous.
Any additional skills, like Photoshop, as well as photography and videography, Google Analytics and Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn Insights, are highly welcomed as well.
