Cloud Solutions Engineer (Azure / Government Projects) -J44795

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services and architecture, with a strong ability to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services.
• Collaborate with development teams to architect cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
• Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Automate cloud infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Azure.
• Deep understanding of Azure services such as VMs, Azure AD, Azure SQL, Storage, Networking, and more.
• Experience with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Desired Skills:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of network security and best practices.
