CNC Machinist(HMC/VMC)

Job Title: CNC Machinist (HMC/VMC)

• Set up and operate HMC/VMC machines for milling and drilling operations.
  

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to execute jobs accurately.
  

• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient machining.
  

• Conduct tool offsets, program edits, and minor adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  

• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.).
  

• Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure proper housekeeping of the workstation.
  

• Monitor machine performance and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
  

• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and production standards.
  

• Maintain production documentation and job records as required.
  

• Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams for continuous improvement.
  

Required Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade.
  

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC HMC/VMC machines.
  

• Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controls (as per requirement).
  

• Knowledge of G-code and M-code is preferred.
  

Skills Required:

• Proficient in reading and understanding mechanical drawings and tolerances.
  

• Sound knowledge of tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds for various materials.
  

• Ability to operate precision measuring instruments.
  

• Basic understanding of CNC programming and editing.
  

• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  

• Flexibility to work in shifts, if required.
