Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) is one of ENGIE’s Global Business Units. We deliver services in supply and logistics management, asset management, risk management, market access management, while contributing to the market understanding, design and efficiency and developing market solutions to accelerate the energy transition.

S&EM manages one of the largest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe, including electricity, natural gas, bulk commodities, and environmental products. Context:

The Commercial Support & Strategy team is a transversal team within the Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) business platform in APAC. Reporting to the BP leader, the team plays a hands‑on role in driving commercial excellence, strengthening cross‑functional collaboration, enabling business transformation, optimizing processes, and supporting data‑driven decision‑making across the platform.

Role:

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Support & Strategy, the Commercial Support & Analytics Officer will contribute to a broad range of initiatives spanning process optimization, analytics, digital transformation, AI‑enabled tooling, and strategic market intelligence. This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and transformation, and will work closely with Front Office, support functions, IT, and regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

Process & Change Management

• Map, formalize, and streamline business processes across commercial activities.

• Drive change management initiatives, including the development of RACI matrices, SOPs, and user trainings.

• Support digital transformation and process efficiency initiatives.

• Contribute to the adoption of AI and development of AI agents to drive efficiency.

• Improve and standardize onboarding processes across various stakeholders.

Data & analytics:

• Promote and embed data‑driven decision‑making across the business.

• Design, develop, and continuously improve commercial KPIs, analytics models, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Build commercial development analytics models across different business activities and client segments within S&EM APAC.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency within the CRM (Gemforce).

• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for Gemforce usage and governance within the platform.

Market Intelligence & Commercial Support

• Develop competitive, market, and regulatory intelligence to support strategic decision making.

• Conduct market studies and analyses to support business expansion and new initiatives.

• Support marketing and prospecting efforts.

• Assist commercial teams in producing white papers, thought leadership content, and marketing materials.

Hard skills:

• Strong project management, structuring, and presentation skills.

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets (Excel, Python, SQL).

• Proven experience in data modelling and analytics projects.

• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

• Experience in business process mapping and optimization.

• Hands on experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and dashboard development.

• Exposure to or experience in AI agent or automation development.

• Good understanding of the S&EM organization, business model, and commercial activities.

• Solid understanding of the structure and value drivers of different S&EM commercial activities.

• Prior management consulting or internal consultancy experience is a plus.

Education and professional background:

• Engineering School or University Master’s degree: economics, sciences, or comparable studies

• 1–2 years of experience (internships included) in project management, data analysis, research, consulting, or corporate strategy

• Exposure to project management or transformation initiatives

• Experience with data visualization tools and CRM platforms

• Interest in renewable energy and energy management

• Prior experience working with cross-functional or international teams

Languages:

Full proficiency in English both in written and spoken.

Travels

Potential International travels to S&EM APAC locations when needed.
