In this pivotal role within the brokering distribution team, you will drive revenue growth by providing expert technical guidance to new clients and maintaining robust relationships with existing partners.

• Manage strategic engagements with broker partners to oversee renewal and new business pipelines.

• Evaluate and underwrite risks for various commercial insurance classes in accordance with established corporate guidelines.

• Facilitate the placement of facultative reinsurance while ensuring all contract documentation meets industry standards.

• Collaborate with internal finance teams to manage premium collections within designated warranty frameworks.

• Perform essential administrative functions, including the preparation of business reports and the issuance of necessary insurance documentation.

skills and experience required

• 4+ years of underwriting experience within the insurance sector

• Candidates with Commercial lines or Property & Casualty experience preferred

• Comprehensive technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting processes

• Relevant industry certifications, specifically the Certificate in ComGI, PGI and HI

• Proven ability to navigate complex environments and adapt to evolving business transformation objectives

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage high-level stakeholder relationships
