About the Role

Seeking an experienced and commercially driven Commodities Broker to expand agricultural commodities business across Southeast Asia. This is a hunter-focused role for an individual with an established network of producers, traders, processors, exporters, importers, and end-users within the agricultural commodities market.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the agricultural commodities brokerage business across Southeast Asia.
• Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients through an established industry network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, traders, exporters, importers, processors, and end-users.
• Provide clients with market insights, pricing updates, and hedging solutions.
• Drive revenue growth by consistently achieving and exceeding sales and brokerage targets.
• Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal trading and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of trades.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commodity brokerage, commodity trading, or business development within the agricultural commodities industry.
• Strong hunter with a proven track record of winning new business.
• Established network and client base across the Southeast Asia agricultural commodities market.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural commodities such as grains, oilseeds, edible oils, sugar, coffee, cocoa, cotton, feed ingredients, or other soft commodities.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and willing to travel across Southeast Asia.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Agriculture, or a related discipline is preferred.
