Company Secretary, Financial Services Firm

Our client, a leading insurance organization, is seeking an experienced Company Secretary to support the General Counsel in maintaining a robust corporate governance framework and ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations applicable to a Tier 1 insurer in Singapore.
Key responsibilities include overseeing statutory and regulatory filings, ensuring accurate and timely reporting under the Companies Act and relevant MAS regulations, and supporting adherence to governance standards aligned with Group policies and industry best practices. The successful candidate will coordinate Board-related disclosures, including updates to directors' personal details, directorships, and shareholdings.
The role will also provide end-to-end support for Board and Board Committee meetings, including agenda planning, stakeholder coordination, reviewing board papers, attending meetings, preparing minutes, and tracking action items. In addition, the candidate will work closely with Group Legal, Corporate Secretariat teams, and regional affiliates on governance initiatives and special projects assigned by the General Counsel.

At least 5-8 years’ experience in a corporate secretarial role. Prior in-house experience at a major financial institution or insurance company in Singapore is an added advantage.
