Get to Know the Team

We are looking for a Compliance Assurance Officer to join our compliance team based in Singapore. Our team focuses on ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of compliance, aligning with regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of integrity within our organization.

Get to Know the Role 

As a Compliance Assurance Officer, you will help maintain our compliance assurance framework and conduct assurance exercise on GrabFin business.

You will report to the Senior Compliance Manager - Assurance & Financial Crime.

This role will be onsite at Grab Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Develop an in-depth understanding of Grab Financial businesses and connect with teams across Grab to comprehend operating processes and the regulatory framework.
• Champion compliance through monitoring and testing by designing and executing a regional monitoring and testing plan, sharing findings with stakeholders, and collaborating to strengthen our compliance program across Grab.
• Design and propose new processes or driving efforts for multiple teams to work together to remediate control gaps or enhance processes.
• Support the Senior Compliance Manager - Assurance & Financial Crime in other tasks when required.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• At least 2 years experience in the same role with a strong understanding of Singapore's regulatory framework for insurance and financial services.
• Experienced conducting compliance audits and risk assessments is advantageous.
• Capability to provide training and guidance on compliance matters.
• Experienced investigating compliance issues and recommend solutions.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends.
• Collaboration skills to work with various departments for holistic compliance management.
• Essential project management skill.
• Experience with analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI) is advantageous.
• Autonomous and proactive in contributing to the team's overall objectives.
