Compliance Manager

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to provide strategic oversight and technical support to our group Compliance team. This role combines deep domain knowledge with business acumen from Group Compliance to provide support and guidance to respective licensed entities, optimize KYC processes and drive continuous improvement in our Group Compliance operations.

A strong knowledge in regulatory compliance framework and AML/CFT regulations with an ability to balance the regulatory requirements and business objectives is essential for this role. This role reports to the Vice President who based in Singapore and works closely with the Group Compliance in our offices to drive excellence in our global Compliance and KYC/AML operations.

What would be your Responsibilities:

• Support and advise the business on various regulatory compliance matters pertaining to regulatory requirements from the respective licensed entities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and verification methods, incorporating jurisdiction-specific requirements and industry best practices.
• Partner with business teams to develop practical solutions that enhance growth while ensuring compliance in regulations in respective licensed jurisdictions.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for all KYC/AML matters, providing strategic guidance, escalation support and guidance for complex cases.
• Oversee and optimize KYC and AML sanction screening operations through any possible resources and support, ensuring efficient processes across all licensed jurisdictions.
• Analyse operational metrics and conversion data to drive process improvements and enhance customer experience.
• Lead enhancement initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize CDD on-boarding platforms, workflows and other compliance framework.
• Refine and improve KYC and CDD on-boarding processes through collaboration with stakeholders to improve conversions.
• Support the Compliance ad-hoc matters in the Group.

What we Require from you:

• Minimum 4 years of regulatory compliance experience in financial services, with demonstrated expertise in regulatory requirements and industry best practices would be a plus
• Understanding of global regulations and compliance frameworks in licensed jurisdictions and emerging trends in digital finance
• Experience in financial services industry, particularly in CFD/forex trading (preferred)
• Strong business acumen and ability to balance risk and business objectives
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent command of both Chinese (Mandarin) and English in written and spoken to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts from other regions

Compliance Manager 

• Fores/CFD/ Crypto background is mandatory. 
• This role is not a procedural role. Job scope is something like operation excellence and compliance. This person must have strong BUSINESS ACUMEN.
• Open to all nationality as long as the candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English. (4 Skills Fluency is mandatory).
• The first 6 months (probation period), candidate will be based in Singapore office. After that relocate to Cyprus office for 1 year. In Cyprus office, company has 40 Staff. After 1 year in Cyprus, move back to Singapore office permanently. They want the candidate to be based in Cyprus for a year to have in-depth understanding on CFD Operations in EU and exchange best practices between EU and APAC. Cyprus office is responsible for EU market.

  • South Africa (FSCA) - received this one in Oct 2025
  • Dubai (SCA) - Will receive in Dec 2025. This is a Promotion License.   
• Direct Report to: VP in Singapore (Head of Department of Global Compliance)
• Role nature: Individual Contributor Role
• No. of interview: 3 Rounds + Aptitude Test 
  • Round 1: HR in Hong Kong (Head of HR + 1 HR)
  • Aptitude Test (30 mins online test)
  • Round 2: Chief of Staff + VP/ HoD
  • Round 3: Group CEO
• Company can provide relocation benefits when the candidate move to Cyprus. 
• Salary: SGD 10,000-12,000 
• Comment: MiTrade Hong Kong office used to look for a more senior Compliance for 3-4 months before. But they realized Senior People are not Ok with relocation in SG and Cyprus.
