For an immediate employment we are looking for a passionate, skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Officer APAC to join our compliance team in APAC headquarter in SINGAPORE.
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage day-to-day operations of the PM Compliance Program in APAC
Communicate frequently & openly to all subsidiaries in the APAC region, remaining up to date on changes in local laws and regulations, company policies and any other aspect related to Compliance
Steer the reporting on emerging and developing local legal and regulatory changes and update concerned departments.
Conduct, monitor, and implement the company's compliance policies and related standard operating procedures for APAC subsidiaries.
Work with all business units involved in the APAC operations, acting as trusted advisor in all matters related to Compliance as well as providing assistance, direction and management of all compliance related queries.
Offer compliance guidance covering, inter alia, trade compliance and competition law.
Collaborate with other departments inside the PM Group and external parties to indicate compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
Develop action plans to address compliance issues and implement corrective measures.
Draft compliance communications & documents, including legal letters (internal and external).
Keep a detailed and extensive documentation of all activities, investigations and cases dealt with.
Train and advise employees and business partners on compliance issues.
Contribute to promoting a culture of compliance within the organization through ongoing education and communication.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong relevant academic background (preferably in law or business studies)
Several years (3-5years) of relevant professional experience in the field of ethics & compliance in an international, preferably an industrial company, ideally in the direct selling industry.
Solid knowledge of the relevant legal and regulatory requirement
High level of personal integrity, value orientation and trustworthiness
Assertiveness, independent thinking, structured and analytical approach
Good interpersonal skills, curious, proactive, positive, and open minded
Hands-on mentality, versatile, teamwork oriented
Self-starter, able to work without constant supervision
Very good presentation and communication skills
Strong knowledge of the Office suite and all digital tools
