Compliance Officer, Capital Markets

We are supporting a global financial services firm with a strong presence across Asia, the US, and Europe in the appointment of a Compliance Officer to join its Singapore platform.

This is a hands-on compliance role supporting multiple MAS-regulated entities and capital markets businesses. The position offers broad exposure across general compliance, regulatory compliance, AML, exchange engagement, and regional stakeholder interaction, and is well-suited to a compliance professional looking to deepen their experience within a global, fast-paced environment.

• Support day-to-day regulatory compliance for Singapore-based regulated entities, including MAS-licensed activities
• Prepare and manage regulatory filings, surveys, returns, and responses to regulator queries
• Act as a point of contact for MAS, exchanges, and other regulatory bodies as required
• Support licensing applications, ongoing regulatory obligations, and internal compliance monitoring
• Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews
• Provide compliance advisory support to front-office and business stakeholders on regulatory requirements
• Support AML/KYC processes, including client onboarding reviews and ongoing monitoring
• Assist with compliance projects, policy updates, and regional initiatives in collaboration with APAC, UK, and US teams
• Maintain compliance records, registers, and regulatory documentation

• 3–5 years of relevant compliance experience within financial services
• Exposure to capital markets, brokerage, trading, or exchange-related businesses is preferred
• Working knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements and Singapore capital markets regulations
• Experience supporting regulatory filings, audits, inspections, or licensing activities
• Familiarity with AML/KYC frameworks and regulatory compliance processes
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to operate in a regulated, deadline-driven environment
• Comfortable engaging with internal stakeholders across functions and regions
• Clear communicator with a professional, composed, and proactive working style
