Consultant, Demand Planning (Sourcing Lead)

As a Demand Supply Consultant (Sourcing Lead), you will provide expert guidance on long-range sourcing strategies and demand planning to strengthen supplier alignment, mitigate risk, and enhance supply chain performance. You will leverage data-driven insights to influence decision-making and improve end-to-end commodity management.

You will:
Advise on long-range demand and sourcing strategies, defining commodity planning approaches that balance cost, availability, and risk
Partner with Product Group, Product Operations, Procurement, and Regional Planning teams to align on data-driven sourcing and planning decisions
Synthesize complex supply-demand dynamics into clear insights, scenarios, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making
Analyze market trends, supplier constraints, and risks to proactively guide sourcing strategies and resolve supply challenges
Improve planning performance by enhancing forecast accuracy, strengthening processes, and leveraging advanced analytics, Power BI, and AI tools

Essential Requirements
10+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, finance, or related fields
Strong business and financial acumen with advanced data modeling skills (e.g., Excel, analytics tools)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking capabilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred) in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
Experience in program management and cross-functional leadership, knowledge of predictive analytics, forecasting methodologies, risk mitigation, and supply chain processes and familiarity with order management, fulfillment concepts, and end-to-end supply chain operations
