About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join a major tertiary ophthalmology service in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive ophthalmic care across outpatient, surgical, and emergency settings within a highly regarded national healthcare network.

The successful candidate will contribute to clinical service delivery, postgraduate teaching, and service development while practising in a world-class clinical and academic environment.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consultant-level ophthalmic care across clinics and theatres

• Perform a broad range of ophthalmic procedures appropriate to experience

• Participate in on-call and emergency ophthalmology services

• Supervise and mentor residents and junior clinicians

• Contribute to CME, audit, research, and service improvement

✅ Candidate Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree

• Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (e.g. FRCOphth, MMed, American Board of Ophthalmology, or equivalent)

• Completion of recognised advanced specialist training

• Eligibility for specialist registration in Singapore

• Senior Consultant applicants require substantial post-CCT experience
