About the role

We're seeking a Content Designer for a 6 months contract to support our Content & Design Standards team. This is an individual contributor role focused on execution excellence. You'll partner with designers to deliver content for product feature launches while helping us maintain our content quality standards across platforms.

You'll work within our collaborative team structure, reporting to the Content & Design Standards Team Head while partnering closely with a senior Content Designer who'll provide domain expertise and day-to-day guidance. Your impact will be immediate and visible: the content you craft will help private banking clients navigate complex financial tasks with clarity and confidence.

This role suits someone who excels at tactical execution, thrives in collaborative environments, and can quickly adapt to new team rhythms. While you won't be expected to lead large strategic initiatives, you'll have meaningful influence on content quality and be a valued voice in championing best practices within the team.

Working in a regulated banking environment requires balancing speed with rigour, but offers the opportunity to develop content for high-stakes financial platforms where clarity truly matters.

What you'll do
  • Partner with product designers on content for product feature launches; this is your primary focus
  • Craft clear, accessible UX copy for features and product journeys, ensuring inclusive, brand-consistent content appropriate for global private banking audiences
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, technology teams, translation specialists, and CX researchers to deliver quality outcomes
  • Maintain content quality standards and champion best practices within the design team
  • Contribute to content governance initiatives, ensuring consistency and clarity across platforms
  • Participate in design critiques and provide informed content perspective to product discussions
  • Apply content design principles including information architecture, appropriate tone, and accessibility standards
  • Consider localisation requirements and partner with translation teams on global content
  • Manage your own workload effectively, meeting deadlines while navigating trade-offs constructively
  • Support content reviews and quality checks as needed
What you'll bring
  • 4-7 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or related fields (demonstrating capability matters more than years)
  • Strong writing skills with proven ability to create clear, user-centred content
  • Excellent eye for detail and command of language
  • Good interpersonal communication skills; you can articulate decisions and collaborate effectively
  • Adaptability to work with different teams and operating rhythms
  • Ability to receive and integrate feedback constructively
  • Self-management skills to handle your workload with regular check-ins
  • Comfortable working in structured environments with established processes
  • Track record of partnering with designers on product development
  • Experience crafting UX copy for digital products or platforms
  • Ability to work within design tools and collaborative workflows
  • Understanding of how to balance user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints
  • Experience navigating stakeholder feedback and iterating on content
How you will stand out
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or other regulated industries
  • General technology product experience and systems thinking
  • Proficiency with Figma and collaborative design processes
  • Knowledge of content strategy principles and information architecture
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Familiarity with content management systems or design systems
  • Additional language capabilities (Simplified or Traditional Chinese)

What our team values
  • Smooth collaboration with designers and cross-functional partners
  • Consistency and clarity of content across your projects
  • Timely delivery of work with minimal quality issues
  • Positive feedback from team members and stakeholders
  • Contributions to content quality discussions and governance efforts
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within team rhythm
  • Strong handover documentation at contract conclusion
