Contracts Manager - East , Building & Construction , Facade System - Fast Hire

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide the Quantity Surveyors and Contract Administration team on all contractual aspects.
• Handle the financial and contractual management of projects from the initial pre-tender stage through to post-tender, encompassing tasks such as quantification, cost estimation, tender costing, variations, and final accounts management.
• Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders on issues such as extensions of time, contractual claims, variations, and related loss and expense claims.
• Participate in site visits, negotiations, and project meetings to ensure ongoing project alignment and adherence to contractual obligations.
• Perform quantity take-offs for various works including earthwork, demolition, and civil engineering projects.
• Provide expert advice on contract terms, conditions, and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
• Report directly to the Contract Directors and senior management.

Requirements:

• Must hold a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, or in Building/Construction/Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Contracts department or similar role within the construction industry.
• Experience in the construction or maintenance sector will be considered an asset.
• Specialized knowledge of building façades and façade systems is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage multiple contracts effectively, adhering to Singaporean legal and regulatory standards.
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and work within tight schedules.
• Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
