Summary:

Leading high-frequency prop trading firm with offices worldwide is looking to expand its Core Engineering Markets team in Singapore with a pragmatic, accomplished C++ Engineering Manager.

Alongside managing and mentoring a global team of developers across multiple regions, you will be responsible for designing and architecting a cryptocurrency high-frequency trading platform. To do this, you'll work closely with traders, business management, and other colleagues to prioritize projects and deliver business-critical solutions.

The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a stimulating, results-oriented environment, able to guide and coach globally distributed team members, while also remaining hands-on with development.

Requirements:

• 10+ years' commercial C++ development experience, ideally in trading
  
• Proven experience leading & mentoring development teams
  
• Strong engineering background in data structures, algorithms, and OO programming in C++
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver complex, high-performance software systems
  
• Exceptional communication skills in English
  
• Cryptocurrency market knowledge, exchange APIs and cloud tech is a significant plus
  
• Nice to have: experience with Linux operating systems & Networking (TCP/IP and UDP); knowledge of Python and shell scripts
