The Corporate Communications & Public Relations Manager will lead a team in spearheading brand and strategic communication efforts in a bid to strengthen the Mitsubishi Electric brand and support various online and social media channels. The incumbent will also be responsible to develop and manage internal and external communication to public, staff and media as well as intranet, corporate website and social media platforms.

 

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the company's reputation and brand awareness that align with company overall objectives. 
  • Manage media queries, external communications and reputation management.
  • Perform editorial tasks such as drafting speeches, press releases, articles for publications and corporate website, and materials for conferences and corporate events.
  • Support brand development and govern use of brand assets to ensure consistent brand experience.
  • Oversee corporate brand and marketing materials and collaterals such as corporate brochure, materials, and calendar to ensure consistent tone of voice and alignment with corporate identity.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or equivalent field, with a proven track record in driving corporate brand identity preferably in both B2B and B2C communications. 
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of working experience with at least two years of experience in a leadership-oriented role.
  • Solid experience in brand strategy and communications planning, generating creative storytelling ideas and the capability to lead execution.
  • Strong knowledge of current key trends in social / digital media marketing, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics and Google Adwords, with experience in creating digital and social media content.
  • Have good project management and event management skills.
