Country Director - Architecture & Infrastructure Projects

Job Summary:

Lead and grow the Singapore subsidiary by driving operations, strategy, and business development within an architectural design consultancy.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the overall business operations and performance of the Singapore entity.
• Develop and execute operational and growth strategies aligned with the firm’s architectural design objectives.
• Drive business development initiatives by building strong relationships with developers, partners, and relevant government agencies.
• Lead project acquisition efforts and support sustainable revenue growth.
• Coordinate closely with overseas headquarters to ensure alignment on strategy, operations, and reporting.
• Provide regular updates to headquarters on financial results, operations, and overall business performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10–20 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management within the architecture industry.
• Proven senior leadership experience as a Managing Director or in an equivalent executive role.
• Strong track record in managing business operations and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated capability in business development, client engagement, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work effectively with overseas headquarters in a cross‑border reporting structure.
• Holding a Board of Architects qualification is an added advantage.
• Experience working in a multinational environment is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Japanese language is an added advantage for liaising with Japanese‑speaking clients and stakeholders, including the Japan head office.
