Job Summary
An established multinational logistics organisation is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its Singapore operations. This role is responsible for driving business growth, overseeing both commercial and corporate functions, managing operational performance, and leading strategic initiatives to support sustainable business expansion.
Key esponsibilities
Provide overall leadership and management of the Singapore business across both commercial and corporate functions.
Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
Oversee sales performance and identify opportunities to expand market presence and strengthen customer relationships.
Manage full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, financial planning, cost management, and business performance analysis.
Lead, coach, and develop department heads and teams to achieve organisational goals.
Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align business objectives and execute strategic initiatives.
Drive operational excellence through process optimisation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, corporate governance, and local regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and key stakeholders.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
At least 5 years of senior management experience within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
Proven experience managing both commercial and corporate functions with full P&L responsibility.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading business growth, operational improvement, and organisational transformation initiatives.
Exposure to regional or multinational business environments will be advantageous.
Familiarity with digitalisation, IT systems, or business process improvement initiatives is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
