Job Description - Country Manager (Singapore)

Summary:

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts at Zevero. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to our mission of driving sustainability and reaching net zero emissions. As the Country Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive sales program in Singapore and exploring opportunities in neighbouring countries. This includes leveraging your network to open doors, conducting market research and competitor analysis, running sales calls, and ultimately creating and closing deals. What you will do:

As the Country Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and executing a country-wide sales program to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the Singapore.
  • Identifying and exploring new business opportunities in neighbouring Southeast Asian markets.
  • Leveraging your network and conducting prospecting activities to identify and engage potential customers.
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Leading sales calls and presentations to showcase Zevero's value proposition and secure new business opportunities.
  • Negotiating and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and customer requirements.
  • Providing regular updates and reports on sales performance and market trends to senior leadership.

What you might bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or business development, preferably in the sustainability or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of success in creating and executing sales programs, prospecting, and closing deals.
  • Strong network of contacts and ability to leverage relationships to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with experience in market research and competitor analysis.
  • Ability to navigate and adapt to different cultural environments.
  • Passion for sustainability and driving positive change towards achieving net zero emissions.

The interview process:

  • 30-minute introductory call to discuss your background and experience.
  • Take-home case study related to sales strategy development.
  • One-hour interview to discuss the case study and assess your fit for the role.
  • Final 30-minute interview with senior leadership to discuss your vision and strategy for driving sales growth in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
