Creative Design Lead

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Creative Design Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong design leadership capabilities, excellent presentation skills, and extensive experience managing interior design projects from concept development through construction completion.

This role requires a confident and strategic designer who is able to lead client presentations and pitches and deliver innovative yet practical design solutions that align with clients’ business objectives and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creative development of interior design projects including space planning, conceptual design, material selection, and design detailing.
• Understand clients’ requirements and translate their vision and brand strategy into compelling and innovative design solutions.
• Prepare and deliver impactful design presentations, pitches, mood boards, sketches, renderings, and design documentation to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead client meetings and presentations with confidence and professionalism.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all technical drawings and project documentation.
• Provide expert guidance on materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting selections to achieve both aesthetic and functional objectives.
• Review construction drawings and design packages to ensure design intent and technical compliance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with the QS and project teams to develop cost-effective and practical design solutions during the construction phase.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in interior design projects, preferably in workplace, commercial, hospitality, or corporate fit-out projects.
• Proven experience in client presentations, pitching, and design proposal development.
• Strong conceptual design, space planning, and technical detailing skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other relevant 3D visualization software.
• Good understanding of construction methodology, materials, detailing, and project coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
