Creative Lead - Art & Game Design

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and passionate Creative Lead with a focus on art creation to join our dynamic team. This role will work closely with our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners to bring game themes to life in every visual and experiential aspect of the game. From cabinet design and gameplay content to lights, music, and user experience, you will drive the creative vision. You’ll also ensure that our machines are operationally efficient, easy to maintain, and simple to operate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborative Design Leadership: Work with OEM partners to bring game themes to life across all design elements, including cabinet design, gameplay content, lights, sounds, and music, ensuring a seamless experience.


• Art Creation: Lead the creation and execution of high-quality artwork that aligns with the game’s theme. Oversee the design of game elements such as characters, backgrounds, and animations.


• User Experience Enhancement: Ensure design elements are intuitive, user-friendly, and enhance the overall customer experience.


• Creative Direction: Guide the creative vision for the game, maintaining consistency and connection to the overall theme and story.


• Collaboration & Feedback: Work with game designers, developers, and other key stakeholders to ensure design elements support game mechanics and user interaction.


• Innovation & Trend Awareness: Stay updated with design trends and technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into the game, improving design quality and user experience.


• Operational Efficiency: Ensure machines are easy to maintain, simple to operate, and meet the practical needs of venue operators.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in creative leadership within game design, focusing on visual arts, theme creation, or game art direction.


• Strong background in graphic design, digital art, and 3D modeling with a portfolio showcasing your work in game design or related fields.


• Understanding of game development processes and how design integrates with gameplay and user interface.


• Experience working with OEM partners and managing cross-functional teams.


• Knowledge of user-centered design principles, with a focus on usability and customer experience.


• Experience in software or phone application user interface design to create a fun and seamless journey for players.


• Proficiency in digital art and design tools such as familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Figma, Unity, Unreal, and other related development and design tools.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Experience designing game cabinets, interactive elements, or audio-visual components for games.
