Responsibilities
Underwriting and Credit Assessment: Evaluate credit propositions and transactions submitted by Relationship Managers to ensure adherence to the Bank’s credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Make decisions on risk acceptance based on established criteria.
Annual and Loan Reviews: Conduct comprehensive annual and/or loan reviews as assigned, assessing the ongoing creditworthiness of existing clients and their transactions.
Client Engagement: Participate in client calls alongside Relationship Managers to gain insight into client needs, address inquiries, and provide expertise on credit matters.
Key Competencies:
Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree holder with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in credit, risk management, or accounting. Candidates with extensive experience as credit analysts in medium to large corporations are also eligible for consideration.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities are essential for assessing credit risks and making informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effectively conveying credit analysis findings and recommendations.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required for data analysis, report creation, and presentations.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with others, both within a team and independently. A positive work attitude, accountability, and a collaborative mindset are valued qualities.
