Surface and rank new service opportunities across the crew lifecycle, spanning recruitment, training, welfare, travel, digital services, compliance, wellbeing, and logistics.
Carry full P&L ownership across revenue growth, cost discipline, margin enhancement, and investment prioritisation, with outcomes monitored through clear financial and operational KPIs.
Craft pricing frameworks, commercial terms, and profitability benchmarks by service line, underpinned by business cases covering ROI and risk assessments.
Convert customer needs into clearly defined service scopes, SLAs, and delivery models, ensuring offerings are repeatable and scalable rather than bespoke.
Collaborate with Digital / IT teams to enable data-driven service delivery while satisfying regulatory and compliance obligations across jurisdictions.
Spearhead the rollout of crew auxiliary services across managed fleets, weaving offerings into core propositions alongside commercial and crewing teams.
Bolster business development by crafting value propositions for new customers and tenders, and extend services to external customers where strategically suitable.
Source, negotiate, and oversee strategic partners, vendors, alliances, and potential acquisitions, applying risk and performance governance across the ecosystem.
Serve as the single point of accountability for the portfolio, uniting stakeholders across crewing, operations, finance, legal, IT, and regional hubs, and grow a high-performing team as the portfolio matures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent preferred
Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in maritime, shipping, or offshore businesses, ideally with a background in crew management or crew-related service ecosystems
Proven track record as a business head or General Manager with full P&L accountability and a record of growing global service businesses; familiarity with platform, digital, or ecosystem-based models, partnerships, joint ventures, or M&A is advantageous
Strong capability working within matrixed, international organisations, with experience presenting business cases to senior leadership or boards
Excellent stakeholder influencing, commercial acumen, and change leadership skills
