Job Description - Customer Engineer II (iTeam -PDC)
Key Responsibilities\n\n * Collaborate with Senior Field Service Engineers [Customer Engineers] in installing, maintaining, and upgrading customer equipment\n\n * Use digital analytics for troubleshooting \n\n * Apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess equipment and address technical issues, with guidance from Senior Field Service Engineers [Customer Engineers]\n\n * Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems (training provided)\n\n * Coordinate and communicate directly with customers\n\n * Participate in projects/assignments in meeting organization goals\n\n * Fulfill additional duties, as assigned\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications: \n\n * Completion of an Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification\n\n * 1\u20132 years of work experience in customer/field service support, or a related technical field\n\n * Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics\n\n * Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges\n\n * Basic mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics\n\n * Familiarity with hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters\n\n * Effective written and verbal communication skills\n\n * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint \n\n * Possession of a valid driver\u2019s license and the ability to obtain a passport, if travel is required.\n\n * Able to meet all on-site requirements, including safety, environmental guidelines, and customer/Applied protocols\n\n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * 2-4 years of work experience in customer/field service support, or a related technical field\n\n * Associate degree in electronics or engineering technologies\n\n * Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics\n\n * Familiarity with hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n2 - 4 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 75% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
