Job Description - Customer Service Executive - Hiring Now

We are desiring to recruit a hardworking Customer Service Executive to join our knowledgeable team at CIMC WETRANS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD in Paya Lebar, East Region.

Qualifications & experience

  • Min 5 years of working experience in a similar position in Freight Forwarding ( Air and Ocean )
  • Able to converse both English and Mandarin due require to liaise with Overseas Chinese Customers/Agents
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain Management
  • Required Skills - Microsoft Office , Excel , PPT

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Liase with customers or overseas agents on shipment instructions and booking updates . Co-ordinate booking and tracking of import and export air and ocean shipments. Monitor Shipment status and update customer and overseas agents. Sending Pre-Alerts to shipper , consignee and overseas agents
  • Liaise with airlines , GSA , coloaders on freight booking and update customers/oversea agents with the booking details.
  • Issue invoices to customer and overseas agents and keep all records updated
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of air and ocean export and import operations
  • Monitor all incoming shipment with carrier website or portnet on the estimated arrival details
  • Ensure all dangerous goods documents are in place and procedure are met
  • Close coordination and booking with carrier and haulier . Monitor Permit Declaration activity with permit declaration vendor
  • Handle dispute and queries from customer and oversea offices on billing matters and resolve in timely manner
  • Establish and maintain positive relationship with customers and vendors
  • Handle any other assignments as and when required by the superior or Management
