Responsibilities and Accountabilities
End to end order processing: order entry and ends with product delivery and customer invoicing, and continues with post transactional support including, but not limited to :
- Customer relationship management - providing customer with positive experience
- Responsible for ensuring that orders are input into the system accurately and in a timely manner
- Goods issues, invoicing month-end closing through SAP
- Ensure customer needs/requests are met in a timely manner
- Ensures timely delivery of products through collaboration with manufacturing plants and logistic providers
- Import/export customs compliance
- Maintain customer's order through internal order book system
- Prepare and collate shipping documents to be submitted to bank and/or customers
- Provide internal clients customer feedback
- Planning for contingency in dispute resolution and post-sales services
- Assist Sales Managers in managing core accounts
- Coordinate customer product quality issues with Sales and Operations personnel
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance to manage customer credit issues
Administrative Support
- General administrative duty to ensure proper functioning of office: Safe keeping of office records like IT equipment listing, staff parking with building management, courier arrangements etc.
- Procurement of office supplies and pantry supplies
- To work closely with IT to ensure all office equipment function properly
Skills & Knowledge Required
Level of education & Experience Required
- At least Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Proficiency in SAP, especially SD module
- At least 3 years' experience in Chemical Industry
- Familiar with import and/or export clearance process, LC negotiation, INCOTERMS and shipping practices
- Good computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, XL, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
