Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the day-to-day function of the logistics and customer services team
- Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the activities in logistics, inventory control, warehouse management, distribution of parts requirements and customer service
- Manage the daily operations for customer service & order processing activities.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to analyze schedules and update customers on the order status
- Determine proper stocking levels, replenishment systems, issue and receipt procedures, required inventory control policies and procedures, and management information system to support material availability control and distribution to the customers.
- Manage internal Key Performance Indicators, including Emergency Service Level, On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turn and Cycle Time for part exchange
- Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec material and reduce aging material
- Plan warehousing and distribution programs and recommend the establishment of distribution centers, including third party vendor selection, equipment and staff in order to support a 24X7 environment
- Manage third-party providers’ Key Performance Indicators, including quality inspection at warehouse and driving for continuous reduction in logistic expenses.
- Maintain inventory cycle counting
- Establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols at the Warehouse
- Ensure company complies with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials and foreign trade compliance.
- Resolve any legal and/or regulatory issues about transportation/distribution
- Foreign trade audit, filing and reporting to customs
- Develop and enforce business processes and work flows to enable efficient and effective operations
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering, logistics or supply chain with min 8 years of relevant experience in customer service/logistics / supply chain capacity
- Preferably 3-5 years of experience managing a team.
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in dealing with challenging internal & external customers
