Data Analyst (Executive)

The Data Analyst reports to the Director of Research, Innovation and Training Academy [RITA]. You will be responsible for the i) data collection, wrangling and transforming data for analytics to ii) support MWS’s statistical requirements at various centers.

Responsibilities

• Helm the core work in data management and analysis (Python) to support research, innovation, and training
• Improve data insights to enhance operational processes, service delivery and to inform programme evaluation and policy formulation
• Provide briefings to key MWS staff on standardizing the day-to-day administration and management of data
• •Lead in visualizing data using PowerBI and Tableau
• Lead in small-scale and/or in-house research projects as an independent contributor

Job Requirements

The shortlisted candidate must have the following skills and proven abilities but not limited to the listed competencies below to perform this role:

• Preferably a *degree/diploma in Mathematics, Statistics and/or computing science (*fresh graduates are welcomed to apply)
• Familiarity with Python, Power BI and Tableau software
• Work independently on statistics (e.g. regression, modelling, forecasting) and to manage projectswith substantial quantitative content (e.g. design and implement data standards, data lexicon,data extraction, data sets preparation, data management and data protection
• Preferably related work experience in the social and/or health sector
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills and good command of spoken and written English to executestatistical reporting/presentation
• Good team player with organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office with aptitude to learn new software (e.g. SPSS, CANVA)
